Wonderful article. I believe what's needed is "Saturday School." Much like other cultures in America that conduct school on Saturdays to teach their native language and history, i.e. Hebrew Schools, and Japanese schools, we Black Americans can organize a curriculum that is taught online and where children learn true American History, which emphasizes the contributions that made this country on the backs and through the intellect of Black people. To emphasize the value of Saturday School, the students would receive a credit that could lead to college scholarships or college credit. Perhaps the curriculum could be developed in partnership with the National Museum of African American History and Culture.
