The warm water poured over LJ’s head, enveloping him in a comforting embrace. He opened his eyes and glimpsed the icy stars scattered across the winter sky through the skylight above. He smiled as he remembered his jogging through the quiet neighborhood earlier, passing neighbors getting ready for dinner or taking out their trash cans. And now, he was enjoying a well-deserved shower before settling for the evening.
